In 1996, seventeen-year-old Pirlo establishes himself in Brescia's first team, and twelve-year-old Gabriele makes his first-ever confession of love.

Pirlo: "You little brat, what do you know about love?"
In 1998, nineteen-year-old Pirlo transfers to Inter Milan. Fourteen-year-old Gabriele follows him to Milan to study and successfully moves into Pirlo's home.
Gabriele: "Andy-gege, we'll be together forever! [Heart] [Heart]"
Pirlo: "Go study, brat!"
In 2001, twenty-two-year-old Pirlo has gone out on loan twice and left Milan, and Gabriele, twice. Seventeen-year-old Gabriele makes a decision: he will become a footballer too. That way, he can keep following Pirlo from club to club and never be apart from him again.
Gabriele: "Andy, I've joined Milan's youth academy! [Smug] [Smug]"
Pirlo: "Good heavens, kid, are you really going to cling to me for the rest of your life?"
N years later...
Pirlo: "Gabi, I don't like you getting so close to other people!"
Gabriele: Smiles~
Gabriele barges into Pirlo's life and never leaves. He is never shaken by Pirlo's resistance or stubborn denials. He knows Pirlo can't do without him.
