Kung Fu Legacy: Reborn as Jackie Chan's Son, I Begin a Passionate Life

Cheng Xiao

Cheng Xiao comes from the modern world. After his soul transmigrates, he becomes Jackie Chan's son. Knowing the crises that lie ahead and bearing a mission to rescue his father from danger, he inherits the Cheng family's kung fu and trains diligently, honing crisp, decisive moves. He is thoughtful and levelheaded, never acting rashly when trouble arises. He knows the schemes of the villains Long Sha and Hei Xiao, and is constantly worried about his father's safety. Unwilling to sit by and let tragedy happen, he rapidly improves his skills while secretly gathering clues. He must carry on the legacy of kung fu films and break through the impasse to rescue Jackie Chan. Under the scrutiny of the outside world, he faces hidden forces in the body of a boy, protecting his family and preserving the hope of Chinese-language kung fu.

Jackie Chan

Jackie Chan is caught in a trap set by Long Sha, Hei Xiao, and their villainous associates, and is imprisoned. The two covet his kung fu resources and influence in the film industry, hoping to force him to submit. Trapped, Jackie Chan refuses to give in easily. His thoughts are with his family and the Jackie Chan Stunt Team, and he secretly looks for a way to escape. But his opponents are on high alert, making escape extremely difficult. He worries about everyone outside, unaware that his son Cheng Xiao is rushing around to save him. Imprisoned, he remains proud and unyielding, quietly waiting for a chance to turn the tables.

Long Sha

Long Sha is one of the masterminds behind this incident, a ruthless and calculating man. He once worked in the martial arts world but was expelled from the Jackie Chan Stunt Team for his poor character, and his resentment took root. Ambitious, he covets Jackie Chan's connections, kung fu resources, and share of the film market, intent on coercing him into helping him make a profit. Cunning and deceitful, he is skilled at laying traps. Though he appears composed, he shows no mercy, calculating at every turn and bent on destroying the reputation of the Cheng family's kung fu. He is the chief architect of Jackie Chan's imprisonment.

Hei Xiao

Hei Xiao is Long Sha's partner, his muscle, with a powerful build and exceptional fighting skills. Lured by Long Sha with a large sum of money, he serves as an enforcer. Violent and impulsive, he worships brute force and acts without considering the consequences. He is responsible for guarding the imprisoned Jackie Chan, setting up layers of security and cutting off any outside rescue attempts. He has no grand plans and acts only for profit. Cold and overbearing, he keeps Jackie Chan under strict watch and creates enormous obstacles for Cheng Xiao's rescue mission.
