As a useless male bug, Xavier has a particularly difficult time in his family.
Since his face is his only redeeming quality, his family decides to send him off in a political marriage.
But Xavier isn't told he's getting married until three days before the wedding.
He resolutely plots his escape and, dragging his frail body through one obstacle after another, finally flees the family that eats bugs.
Unfortunately, fate has other plans. Xavier has only just escaped being sent away when a sudden illness strikes, and he collapses in front of a stranger.
Ximonas, who was just out for a walk: ?
*
A dark, windy night is perfect for a walk after work.
But Ximonas seems to be out of luck today, because someone is trying to scam him.
The unconscious male bug is so frail he could be crushed with a single squeeze. While Ximonas hesitates, the other has already slowly come to.
He meets those beautiful, bewildered eyes and curls his lips into a smile.
"You cost me a hundred thousand star coins by taking up my time."
"Have you thought about how you'll make it up to me?"
Xavier, who currently has not a coin to his name: "...I have no money."
"Easy enough. Do something for me."

(I can't sum up the characters, so I gave up...)
My take on insectoid interstellar fiction, with a mountain of original worldbuilding! No pregnancy!
:In this story, females are superior and males are inferior!! This is not traditional insectoid fiction!! [Emphasized in red and bold]
Important, so I'll say it three times:

Ximonas is based on the African giant swallowtail.
I'm not very good at writing blurbs for this story...
I drew the stick figure on the cover myself. Very sacred, right? No need to envy my artistic skills (just kidding).
Theme: Don't take an exploitative job
