Basically:
A hot-tempered soccer prodigy gets benched by his coach for refusing to follow orders. Furious, he quits the team and transfers to a school in Qingcheng to play volleyball.
After leading his team to the national championships, he receives an invitation to an elite soccer training program and arrives at Blue Lock, only to find a bunch of familiar faces from his little book of grudges.
A jumbled timeline: volleyball first, then Blue Lock, then volleyball again, and finally falling in love with the people he hates and the best captain, Oikawa.
