Walking with You

Xiao Yishuang had a dream that she was assassinated by Consort Xiao of the Cold Palace while attending a banquet at the imperial palace.

When she woke, the Liu family had come to ask for her hand in marriage. This time, however, her younger half-sister took the match from her.

In her dream, her younger half-sister Xiao Yitian was Consort Xiao, the abandoned concubine of the Cold Palace. She was supposed to marry Liu Yihan, son of the Liu family and the future chief minister, while "giving up" her chance to enter the palace as a consort.
