1932, Mississippi.
On the first day Lena arrived in this little Southern town, she realized she'd stumbled into a story that had already been written.
She knew that a vampire named Remmick would break into the twins' bar one night and spark a bloody battle in his attempt to steal other people's souls. She also knew that many people would die.
But she never expected the monster to first appear before her as a wandering musician, asking curiously, "Where did you learn that tune?"
This is a story about one stranger meeting another.
Content warnings:
1. A derivative work featuring vampire Remmick from the film Sinners, with an original Chinese female lead, Lena.
2. To make the character more rounded, the male lead's characterization will also incorporate traits from a character in the actor's other work, the series Godless.
3. A self-indulgent passion project, updated whenever inspiration strikes.
4. Almost forgot the OOC warning: I write the characters as I understand them.
Theme: My longing recognizes your longing.
I heard a song today while watching the Edgar Allan Poe episode of Masters of Horror Season 2, who would have thought! The same series of works 🤩 by the same Irish composer as the Late Summer Rose I wrote before is also very suitable for the next chapter, I should include it haha. And has anyone watched the MV for Blossoms' new song "Husband" in which Jack stars? I have been looping for a day [Joker]
