A guide:

There are many descriptions of the black bird's appearance. Some say it is a crow, others a swallow, and still others a golden crow. In this story, I've imagined it as a bird with dazzling, multicolored black phoenix feathers. You can also picture it as a dark phoenix.

(Note: The Dark Phoenix is a later invention in fiction and is not the same as the ancient black bird.)

Also, this is an ancient beast world, so it has a matriarchal clan system and a cultivation progression. There are no insectoid races, only evil beasts.

Naturally, the Beast God is a great female beast.
