Chu Bai was a woman, but she was so strong and had done so much hard labor that she seemed more like a man than most men.
She brought someone home, healed their injuries, and her mother told her to treat them as a sister.
She thought the person was a woman. They ate and slept together, and only after the other vanished did she learn that she had been the crown prince of the previous dynasty.
When they met again, the little "girl" had become a stunning beauty, every glance and smile captivating.
Chu Bai thought she might be done for.
