Vicious, Yet Impossibly Beautiful

Nontraditional Yamato Nadeshiko, wickedly beautiful Omega top x Sly Alpha bottom

Nilan (Xuedai Lan) x Heisaki Yoru

The Xuedai family descends from the old court nobility. After the war, they attached themselves to the financial conglomerates, and in this world rebuilt by artificial intelligence, they still maintain the dignity of the old aristocracy.

Lan is the undisputed darling of the Xuedai family. For the sake of family honor and propriety, she is betrothed to a financial conglomerate at a young age.

Heisaki Yoru is the legitimate son of the head family of the Heisaki clan, the foremost of the four great financial conglomerates. Born an arrogant, favored child of heaven, he champions free love and opposes arranged marriage. He looks down on his nominal fiancée, but the moment he meets Lan in person, all the beliefs he'd stood by crumble to dust.

Heisaki Yoru and Lan meet, grow close, and fall in love with the hazy tenderness of young people in the bloom of youth. But their happiness doesn't last. An accident takes the beauty's life, and she closes her lovely eyes forever in Heisaki Yoru's arms.

Heisaki Yoru's personality changes completely, and his hair turns white overnight.

For years, Heisaki Yoru observes the rules of a widower, remaining chaste and never getting involved with another woman.

Until his family summons him, and through a twist of fate, he sees for the first time the kept lover his elder brother Heisaki Kui has confined.

In the moonlight, the beauty emerges from the corridor in tiny steps, dressed in a full set of jet-black kimono, white socks, and delicate shoes, a faint wisp of mist.

At a glance, Heisaki Yoru recognizes the first love and beloved he lost years ago.

His dead beloved has become his brother's caged songbird?

Then he'll take him back.

Reader's Guide:

1. ABO, Omega top and Alpha bottom. The top has had previous partners.

2. The top is physically weak in bed, and will not take the lead. Includes pregnancy plotlines for the top.

3. The top is adored by all and humiliated by all. His mental state is alarming. He maintains a tranquil, graceful Yamato Nadeshiko facade, but is often quite neurotic, with a touch of madness. The more beautiful he is, the more tragic his fate, and the more tragic his fate, the more beautiful he is.

4. Brothers compete for the same lover. The older brother is a tyrant with deeply rooted feudal values, cruel and ruthless, and skilled at taking what he wants by force. The younger brother is a growing, hypocritical, obsessive ghost of a man, gentle only toward the top, following a story of rescue, healing, and redemption.

5. The top and the older brother are never in a romantic relationship.

6. Light Japanese cyberpunk elements. The setting is fictional, and there's plenty of authorial worldbuilding. Written for the author's personal tastes. Proceed at your own discretion.
