Yucheng Huajin hates trouble. Her lifelong dream is to be an ordinary person and live a simple, happy life.
But ever since birth, she's had enough power to destroy the world. There's nothing ordinary about her.
Determined to live a normal life, Yucheng Huajin follows the usual path into Teiko Middle School. She applies herself to her studies while worrying that someone will discover her powers.
As it turns out, her concerns are justified. During her three years of middle school, she witnesses supernatural tennis at schools all over the country. Some players can even break pillars with a single serve.
Yucheng Huajin is dumbfounded. "Are all you tennis players like this? Is there anyone normal in this world?!"
Determined to stay away from tennis, Yucheng Huajin turns down the offer to continue on to high school at Teiko. Instead, lured to Tokyo Jujutsu High by the promise of generous pay from a certain white-haired teacher, she soon discovers on her first day that she's been duped.
Life here is a hundred times worse than at Teiko. Not only does she have to attend classes, she also has to take on missions and exorcise curses. She barely gets any time off. They might as well be treating her like livestock.
Yucheng Huajin has had enough. "I'm suing the jujutsu world for employing a minor!"
After graduating from Tokyo Jujutsu High, Yucheng Huajin promptly quits the jujutsu world, gets as far away from Tokyo as she can, and heads to Yokohama for university.
Less than half a month into the school year, she runs into ability users fighting with special-effect bullets flying everywhere.
