A new transfer student recently joined Ying Lian's class. Everyone praised his looks, and the teachers could only give his grades a thumbs-up. But Ying Lian was the only one who thought he was a poser.

There was one reason: the transfer student, Fu Xin, was way too aloof, and his cold shoulder kept frustrating the talkative Ying Lian.

After a mirror fell from the sky and hit him, Ying Lian unexpectedly awakened space-based powers. But before he could show off in front of Fu Xin, his younger sister suddenly went missing.

Then came a series of incidents: criminals hunting him down, an attack on the school, and more. Gradually, Ying Lian realized that responsibility comes before praise.

To meet the demands of the times, Ying Lian joined the Special Ability Management Bureau. After passing the exam, he became part of its elite team and Fu Xin's partner, someone with whom he would share life and death.

After spending some time together, Ying Lian discovered that beneath Fu Xin's icy expression lay a strong possessive streak.

“Fu Xin, do you like me?”

The person before him had unfocused eyes, but his voice was strangely firm. “I like you. I like you very much.”

Ying Lian was shocked, secretly delighted, and felt that it was only right.

The Special Ability Management Bureau always upheld the principle, “Maintaining peace is our bounden duty.” And when danger struck, Fu Xin shielded Ying Lian without hesitation.

“You want to be the hero who saves the world. Then I'll be your shield, forever.”

The words echoing in Ying Lian's mind overlapped with the figure standing before him. He stammered, “Fu Xin, have we met before?”

Someone asked Fu Xin, “If you found yourself inexplicably falling for someone completely different from you, wouldn't you be confused?”

Fu Xin thought of that dazzling figure and smiled. “No. He's a wonderful person. Whether in the past or now, I can't help being drawn to him.”
