Wen Xu knew his roommate, Lin Qiqi, had designs on him.
From what he could tell, Lin Qiqi genuinely liked him, and in a way that had to be kept hidden.
While they were sharing a place, Lin Qiqi would slyly call him “Master,” secretly sleep under his clothes, and even stay up late reading BL comics. It drove Wen Xu crazy.
But Lin Qiqi had such an innocent face that every time he apologized in a soft voice, it sounded like he was pouting.
Wen Xu wasn’t falling for it. He watched coldly and would occasionally warn Lin Qiqi by citing the rules of their shared lease.
But when Lin Qiqi’s eyes turned red and he said he was moving out, Wen Xu finally panicked.

Lin Qiqi was a catperson who had only recently transformed.
To live with his master, Wen Xu, he decided to confess the truth about himself.
But before long, he realized everything had changed.
Wen Xu no longer hugged or kissed him, and wouldn’t even let him call him Master.
He even threw away his little dried fish and toys.
When Lin Qiqi proudly showed him his cat tail, Wen Xu actually shoved him away in fright. “You’re not even human!”
The cat was heartbroken. The cat shed tears. Then the cat ran away from home.

After the cat was found and brought back, the usually stone-faced Wen Xu’s eyes reddened. He kissed every inch of Lin Qiqi’s skin, his fingertips slowly sliding down his spine to the small of his back.
Warm breath brushed against his ear, and Lin Qiqi heard Wen Xu’s slightly hoarse voice.
“Baby, I want to see your tail.”
