Xie Cichao x Wen Yanchu

Xie Cichao is the illegitimate son of the chairman of Hongqing Group. Cold and solitary, he is single-mindedly determined to seize power and take control of the company.

But things go awry in the final semester of his senior year.

The person he accidentally bumps into on the way to class latches onto him and follows him all the way home. Xie Cichao has no interest in dealing with him and just wants to get rid of him quickly. Then he finds out the guy is a consultant at his childhood friend Xiao Guiji's company. Figuring he might as well make use of him, Xie Cichao calmly keeps him close and puts him to work.

Just when he thinks his steady path to taking over the company is facing another obstacle, a second illegitimate son appears out of nowhere and the situation takes a sudden turn for the worse. At the most critical moment, he is diagnosed with a terminal illness. Trouble is coming from every direction.

So when Xie Cichao is diagnosed with a terminal illness, Wen Yanchu confesses: "I like you."

Xie Cichao is stunned. "I'm not good with words. I don't speak nicely, and I don't like you."

But Xie Cichao, everything you do is saying: Wen Yanchu, I love you.

"What you do sounds just as sweet as what you say..."

"I can help you. I'll help you take back what's yours."

Because I don't want to see you lose your composure again, I only want to see you standing atop a high-rise, looking down on the world.
