Some call her the unlucky saint, because wherever she goes, the aberrants there become even more uncontrollable.
Many people pity her and want to save her.
But no one knows what desire is being stirred up to make those aberrants lose control.
On the seventh underground level, a voice visits her dreams every night. A fragment of an imprisoned Old God teaches her lost divine authority in broken god-speech.
Her mentor, who taught her how to execute, is the chief of the Seventh Tower and the empire's most loyal hound. On the final page of a notebook from the restricted section, the handwriting shifts from controlled to erratic: "...Corruption... No cure..."
The person ordered to watch her writes reports every day, but never sends the originals. Not one page contains intelligence, only what she looks like when she smiles.
The person who wants to take her away from Silent Island takes a fatal blow for her. "I bet that in the end... you won't be able to bear letting me die."
At last, the successfully "rescued" Zero Three stands atop the Seventh Tower, listening to the countless voices on the island.
She has finally become the master of this island. So what should she do with these fanatical humans?
After all... she was never a saint to begin with.
