Nuo An was once the king of the Tagawu. Now, he is nothing more than a slave in a back alley.

Crouched in a filthy cage, he has long since lost his former glory. To stay alive, he has to imitate the other slaves and call out to customers again and again: "Please buy me..."

His voice is soft and timid. He expects no one to want him, but just as he is about to faint from hunger, he hears a familiar voice.

"Fancy meeting you here, little liar."

Nuo An looks up, his blood rushing to his head.

What rotten luck. The buyer standing before him is none other than the culprit behind his country's downfall!

Nuo An is furious, but to stay alive, he has no choice but to use the skills he learned as a geisha to beg (act cute for) his enemy's help.

He puts on a pitiful face and grips the bars of the cage as he asks Chuan Yu, "Are you going to buy me?"

Chuan Yu thinks there's something wrong with him. After falling for the tricks of a timid, spineless kid once, he has somehow fallen for them a second time.

Not only was he swindled out of his money, he was swindled out of his heart, too.

That useless king of Tagawu may not have much talent, but he certainly has the makings of a cloud pirate.

They meet again at a trade association's recruitment fair. Chuan Yu spots the little troublemaker at once, small and hiding behind the crowd.

He grabs his weapon, marches over, and seizes Nuo An by the collar. "Pay me back!"

But the little rascal puts on that innocent face again and says pitifully, "It got stolen..."

Chuan Yu is so mad he nearly rolls his eyes. He's just about to sell Nuo An to get his money back when Nuo An adds, "I can earn the money and pay you back..."

During Chuan Yu's secret-crush phase

Chuan Yu: "Stay away from that kid. He has ulterior motives."

Nuo An mutters under his breath, "You're not exactly nice to me either..."

Chuan Yu glares. "What did you say?"

Nuo An turns away. "You're just a little nicer than everyone else."

During Chuan Yu's open-crush phase

Chuan Yu: "Come with me. I'll take care of you."

Nuo An says uncertainly, "I don't want to."

Chuan Yu: "Why not?"

Nuo An: "You're a dragon..."

Chuan Yu: "So what?"

Nuo An's eyes shift away. "My house isn't big enough for you."
