American-style campus fluff
The six-foot-six football star who is afraid of needles * the beautiful top student from a family of acupuncturists
Gao Zhen comes from a family of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners and specializes in acupuncture. Carrying her family's expectations, she goes abroad to study, but the unfamiliar surroundings and heavy academic pressure leave her struggling to breathe.
Introduced to the sport by her roommate, she discovers the wildly popular game of American football.
Becoming the acupuncturist for the campus football team is an accident. Even more surprising is that Gary Perlos, a two-meter-tall rising-star quarterback who seems wild and charming on the surface, is actually afraid of needles!
He trembles every time he sees her!
The harder he shakes, the more excited Gao Zhen gets!
