Xie Xining x Ren Shiyi (yī)
The first time Xie Xining saw Ren Shiyi, he was feeding a kitten.
The second time she saw Ren Shiyi, he was still feeding a kitten.
The third time she saw Ren Shiyi, he was humming a requiem as he buried the kitten in the school garden.
Xie Xining: What kind of grim reaper has descended upon us?
-
Xie Xining is the beauty, kind heart, and top student of A City's international school, all rolled into one. In short, she's "three for three."
But because she's so "good" at disciplining her younger sister, Xie Xiqing, the streets have given her the nickname "Jianshouqing": the kind of "qing" that leaves bruises without drawing blood.
-
In the alley behind No. 3 Middle School, after a fierce fight,
the frail boy she'd rescued dusts himself off, bows, and shouts:
"Miss, please wait! Could you be the legendary back-alley champion, the great Jianshouqing?"
Xie Xining's mouth twitches as she wonders where this lunatic came from.
-
Later, at the Xie Group.
"President Xie, let's be friends. You can't keep walking by the river without getting your shoes wet, can you?"
The well-dressed man holds out a business card and smiles.
President Xie sighs, grabs the man's tie, and pulls him to within an inch of her. She whispers in his ear:
"Funeral services? Please place an order for someone named Ren Shiyi. I need it right now."
Reader's guide:
This is the story of eldest sister Xie Xining. The heroine's family is the richest in A City, while the hero's family works in funerals.
I'll post it when I have enough chapters saved up. No fixed schedule.
A little melodrama.
**Important:** The leads do not harm animals in the story.
Second sister Xie Xiqing has a story too, titled Ten Thousand Gu Insects, Everlasting Green. I'll share its blurb little by little~
If you're interested, you can start with the first book in the series, Peach Blossoms in Full Bloom~
