"When the heart dies, the Dao is born." You must have turned those words over in your mind countless times in the dead of night.
But what is the Dao? And what does it mean for the heart to die?
True "heart death" is never as simple as pressing Delete. It is when reason finally clears, the body finally has had enough, and the soul finally turns away.
Each of these three steps means walking over broken glass.
This book records some reflections on rescuing yourself from the ruins of heartbreak.
The book has three volumes.
Volume One breaks down the recurring symptoms of pain: waking up gasping in the early morning, emotions surging and replaying late at night, intermittently thinking you've moved on only to keep falling apart...
Volume Two examines the truths about love we tend to overlook when we're head over heels: the nature of relationships, mismatched perceptions, the neglected shadows of human nature, and what it is we're really grieving and reluctant to give up...
Volume Three is about rebuilding yourself: from "I am the first person responsible for my emotions," to "My worth is not defined by a relationship," and then to "Only by distinguishing your issues from mine can we better work on what is ours together."
In the end, you'll realize that letting go was never about putting someone behind you. It was about forging a better version of yourself.
Knowing and doing are hard to unite.
Knowing that you "should let go" isn't true understanding. Only when reason's insight sinks into your body and new instincts grow through repeated pain can you truly say you know.
P.S.:
· This isn't a feel-good story. It's a firsthand account of looking back and reflecting.
· If you need it and happen to open this book, I hope to accompany you from "the heart dies" to "the Dao is born."
Thesis: On the surface, I want to share how to rebuild yourself. In reality, I'm a beginner author earning points, haha.
