Synopsis
The Qin family has always been known for its refined, dignified style, yet their beloved daughter has been universally recognized as a one-woman troublemaking machine since childhood.
Her specialty is causing a little trouble every day and a big disaster every three days. If there are no problems, she makes them herself. She finds endless ways to stir things up, wreaks havoc without repeating a trick, and pushes the stress tolerance of everyone around her to its limit. She's brazenly bad and feels entirely justified in making a scene.
With a personality that seems determined to make the world a more chaotic place, she should have been ambushed and beaten by now, angelic face or not. At this rate, she'd be deep in the red on good karma.
But she has her own personal life cheat: a dedicated safety net that's always online and ready to answer her call.
[Cheerful on the outside, cold within, funny girl × cold on the outside, warm within, sharp-tongued man]
Qin Jiangyan is best at doing the most willful things with the sweetest smile.
As a mischievous, innocent child, she was stubborn enough to believe that a tiny longevity thread could tie someone to her for all the years to come.
As an outspoken, free-spirited adult, she brazenly believes that a simple ring can bind that same person to her for the rest of their life.
The process may seem completely unreliable, but somehow the outcome works every time (^_^)

People joked that with their families' long-standing ties, their matching talents and looks, and all the usual doom flags stacked up, they were bound for a bad ending.
Qin Jiangyan had just finished a pile of old-school tragic romances and wholeheartedly agreed. So she decided to fight magic with magic, bombarding Jun Linyan with cheesy pickup lines.
His verdict: "Qin Jiangyan, your flirting could sit down for a chat with the god of the land."
One governs the land, the other governs corny lines. A clear division of labor.
Qin Jiangyan smiled. "What can I do? Since you won't accept my feelings, big brother, you'll just have to have dinner with me every day. Otherwise, to anyone watching, I'll look so pitiful."
Day after day went by. One day, during a break from working overtime, his secretary casually remarked that no matter how late she worked, her family always remembered to urge her to come home for dinner.
Hearing this, Jun Linyan suddenly came to his senses and realized, belatedly...
He might have been tricked.

Jun Linyan was like Yunqi's rainy season: elusive and distant, his thoughts hard to read.
For twenty years, Qin Jiangyan stubbornly added annotations in her diary to the words, "I hate the rainy season." Only at the end did she suddenly realize that the annotations had grown much longer than the original sentence.

Reader's guide:
1. There is a seven-year age gap. The heroine falls for the hero at fifteen, while he doesn't fall for her until she is twenty-three. Until then, they are simply family who are especially close.
2. The heroine has a happy family. The hero has a rather tragic background. Unless otherwise specified, my novels have only one partner for each lead.
3. The world and timeline are fictional, and the technology is close to what we might see twenty years in the future.
4. Do not break up the canon couple.
Theme: Become a world of your own, then return to the beauty of human life.
