An Shixiao finally fought her way out of the nightmare game.
Six years ago, bad luck made her one of the first beta testers. No walkthrough, no overpowered cheats, no teammates.
No problem. She turned herself into the biggest bug in the instance.
The monsters cowered at the sound of her name. The bosses fled overnight, afraid she'd tear their homes apart.
After tearing through the game, she returned to reality. An Shixiao collapsed onto the sofa, thinking happily: Retirement, here I come.
One month later.
At eight that evening, every citizen over the age of eighteen around the world received the same text message:
[Ding! The Nightmare Eternal game has officially arrived~]
An Shixiao: "..."
Wait, so this busted game is only arriving now?!
The day she entered the game again, the monsters lost it.
Monster A slammed its head against the wall. "Why is that terrifying woman back?! I just barely escaped her clutches!"
Monster B clutched its freshly regrown hair and wept. "My hair... I'm going bald again..."
An Shixiao strolled past with a beaming smile, put an arm around the nearest monster, and cheerfully began to sing:
"We're one big family~ A family who love each other~"
The monster's thoughts: Who's family with you?!
The System cowering in her mind screamed frantically:
[No! This lunatic is going to wreck the Creator's whole game!]
Later, the instance bosses lined up to beg her to join them.
An Shixiao was so touched. "Oh my, you want me to become a god that badly?"
The bosses nodded frantically.
An Shixiao wiped away an imaginary tear. "All right. To reward your sincerity, I've decided to give that Creator a wonderful present."
Back then, He had personally knocked her off the board and made her a chess piece.
But He didn't know...
That the piece had grown fangs, and was about to flip the entire chessboard.
Whoever sent her to hell, she'd drag down from the divine throne.
Preview of the "Red Shoes Opera House" instance:
At midnight, a pair of red shoes dance gracefully across the stage.
Behind the curtain, dozens of eyes stare fixedly at them.
"Put them on."
"No, don't put them on."
"They can satisfy your vanity."
But nobody mentions that once you put them on, you can never take them off.
