Because of A Smile Is Beautiful, high school senior Lin Yuxi dives headfirst into the world of New Ghost Story and is lucky enough to meet a cool and powerful master known as "Mo."
As she prepares for the college entrance exams, she reluctantly uninstalls the game. After promising, "I’ll miss you," she disappears without a trace.
A year later, after getting into A University as she had hoped, Lin Yuxi suddenly feels like logging back into the game. To her shock, she discovers that she has not only jumped to Level 109 overnight, but is also wearing the top-tier ghost gear on the entire server!
Then the dimmed avatar that has been gray in her friends list for a year suddenly lights up, and a string of System notifications appears:
[System] Your in-game spouse, "Mo," has logged in...
It turns out that during the year she was gone, he never left.
When his devotion in the virtual world spills into reality, the white-clad young man who quietly paved the way for her is waiting for her on the campus of A University, where they are now classmates in the same city, his heart full of tenderness as he waits for her to keep their date.
Theme: "The internet may be virtual, but the time and sincerity someone gives you are forever real and burning bright."
So touching! I hope every waiting in A Chinese Girl has such a happy ending. 🌈
