The Eccentric Grandma Who Prays to Immortals

I am a deity.

To earn good karma, I was reborn into a family, ready to help them build a better life.

As soon as I opened my eyes, before I could even let out a cry, someone threw me onto the ground.

Grandma looked disgusted and stepped on me.

"Why is it a girl? Throw this burden in the ditch!"

Thankfully, Mom desperately stopped her and saved my life.

"Mom, you can't do that. Murder is against the law."

I heard Grandma turn away and start wailing to the statue of the deity about her miserable fate.

"Heavenly deity! Why won't you open your eyes and see what's happening?"

I had opened my eyes. I'd even been reborn right here.

The ground was cold. I snorted and decided I would turn a blind eye to her for the rest of this life.

Good karma means that good and evil each get what they deserve.

Theme: Good and evil are repaid in kind; karma does not lie.
