Still Trying to Survive? The Casual Player Tops the Rankings

[Game Announcement: You have entered the survival game.]

[Prepare to face extreme weather and waves of monsters.]

Jiang Zhile, a game blogger who had just stayed up all night writing a guide, stood in an empty thatched hut and sighed.

What do you mean, a max-level lifestyle player has returned to the beginner village to stomp noobs?!

While everyone else was exchanging supplies at a snail's pace, Jiang Zhile dismantled his starting shelter and traded it for lumber to build a workbench.

Game bloggers always have a few unexpected ideas.

A head start makes all the difference. While other players hid from monsters in their shelters, he set up water and supply routes, built crossbow turrets, and turned the survival game into a tower-defense farming game. He stockpiled resources, picked off hostile players who didn't know when to keep their heads down, and gathered all sorts of adorable fluffy creatures to work for him.

The whole server stared up at that towering shelter, their scalps tingling.

They feared that one day the big shot would lead his terrifying beasts in a massacre.

Jiang Zhile: A massacre? What massacre? We lifestyle players don't do anything that vicious. Want some armor? Highest bidder wins. Your crops look lovely near your shelter, so mind if I grab a couple of seeds while I'm here? And those are our fluffy little pets, not beasts! Call them that again and I'll have them bite you!

A lifestyle player doesn't feel secure until every resource is stocked at 99+.

First place on the leaderboard?

That was just something he did along the way!

After forcibly reversing time and space, Shi Yan's divine power faded, and he needed sleep to recover. He would often wake only after several months.

When he woke up one day, he found that all the beasts he had raised were gone.

Shi Yan felt a little uneasy. These beasts were gentle only with him, but they were devastatingly destructive and could wreak havoc on the world.

But when he followed their trail, he found a group of beasts, each powerful enough to overturn heaven and earth with a single claw, making their voices meek and cuddling up to an unfamiliar human as they mewed and barked and nuzzled him.

Shi Yan: ???
