I'm an expert at raising pets that all end up dead. Plenty of people laugh at me and say the only way to break the curse is to raise a dragon. To that, I say, screw you. I'll go raise a little evil dragon!
Theme: True strength isn't being fearless. It's choosing to stay by someone's side even when you're scared out of your wits. The so-called "pet-killing curse" is just an excuse for two useless introverts to try to become braver for each other.
