Another person lived inside Wen Xi's body, keeping him company through the hardest days of his life.
He was spoiled and timid. Whenever he softened his voice and pleaded, Wen Xi was willing to find anything for him.
Until one day, he asked to borrow Wen Xi's body for a while. He took it over, and never gave it back.
"You idiot, I'm your inner demon. Please, be more discerning in your next life. Don't trust just anyone, okay?"
Later, Wen Xi reclaimed his body, made a new vessel for the inner demon, and imprisoned him in a golden cage.
No matter how much the inner demon begged this time, Wen Xi wouldn't show him mercy.
