The Yun family was slaughtered by monsters. Yun Fu narrowly escaped and went to seek refuge with the Cui family, a renowned clan of demon slayers.
When she met the evil spirit Cui Xunzhou, he had just stuffed the heart he’d stolen into his chest. Blood stained his pale cheek in a vivid splash, and his dark eyes fixed on her rising and falling chest.
Yun Fu wept in terror, but Cui Xunzhou was so excited his long lashes trembled. He gripped her by the throat and licked the tears from her face, claiming to be kindhearted. If she helped him recover his memories, he wouldn’t eat her.
Yun Fu meekly agreed, planning to trick him into going to the Cui family. They would surely destroy him once he got there.
She never expected him to be the Cui family’s second young master, who had been unconscious for a long time.
Yun Fu: …
Luckily, after Cui Xunzhou awoke, he forgot what he had done as a ghost and didn’t remember her either.

After waking, Cui Xunzhou discovered that a strange woman had moved into his home.
Her face, voice, even the way she cried, all suited his taste perfectly. The only thing he disliked was how she always avoided him. Even visiting her room every night couldn’t soothe the restlessness in his heart.
Until one day, Yun Fu was chased by a monster and flung herself into his arms, begging him to save her. With tears in her eyes, she promised to repay his kindness and obey his every command.
“Sounds good.” His eyes curved into a smile as he buried his face against her neck and took a bite.
“I let that monster out. If you break your vow today, I’ll let a few more out to keep you company.”
