Original name: (Floating Meng Tanshi)
Tan Linglu, a lonely and troubled girl, fell into a realistic and long dream in the tired night. In the deserted Wutong Street, she met Tan Siyu, a young man who only existed in dreams.
This fantasy world is isolated from the troubles and hustle and bustle of reality. The night breeze is always present and the flowers never fall. Tan Siyu rushes here with his innate tenderness and preference, and Tan Linglu goes from strangers to confession, and spends a period of pure and passionate love in a carefree dream. Tan Linglu indulged in this hard-won companionship, and gradually became greedy for the undefended stability in the dream. She was willing to immerse herself in the illusory warmth, thinking that flowers would always bloom and good dreams would last forever.
But dreams have their own destiny. As Tan Linglu's subconscious gradually awakens, cracks begin to appear in the illusion, the scenery is distorted, the space collapses, and Tan Siyu's form based on the dream slowly becomes blurred and transparent. In order to preserve the short time together, he spent his original energy to repair the world silently, deliberately concealing the truth that the illusion was on the verge of being broken. As a result, he was estranged from Tan Linglu, who was suspicious, and fell into a long cold war. After the misunderstanding was resolved, the two chose to put aside their disputes, barely maintaining warmth in the crumbling illusion, and quietly waiting for their separation.
When the dream completely collapsed and the white mist swallowed up the entire long street, Tan Linglu's rain turned into light spots and dissipated in front of Tan Linglu's eyes, leaving only a warning and then disappeared into nothingness. Tan Linglu suddenly woke up and returned to the cold reality, frantically searching for the figure in the dream, rummaging through the streets and falling asleep repeatedly, but she could no longer step into that old dream, leaving only unforgettable memories and unforgettable regrets.
The story ends with the heroine's sadness and relief after waking up from a dream as the main tragic ending. It also adds an extra story from the male protagonist's perspective, revealing that Tan Siyu is a phantom in a dream, and has foreseen the outcome from the beginning of his birth, withholding deep love, and being unable to contend with the painful thoughts of fate. An additional extra story about the perfection of parallel time and space allows the two people who carry each other's obsession to cross the barrier between illusion and reality, meet again in the human world, and make up for the regret of being broken and separated in the dream.
Intention: A dream in life, the flowers in the pan fade, and we will meet again before our obsession is over
