The roar of engines rang across the entire track, while the packed grandstands erupted with cheers.
Chu Sui had been the champion driver of the HRA, the Global Hunting Racing Alliance, for five consecutive years. But after a crash on the track left him seriously injured, he had to withdraw from racing.
The media and racing fans went wild!
When his former team pressured him to renew his contract and wouldn't stop pestering him, Chu Sui sneered from his hospital bed and waved them away.
"I'm done with this!!!"
He had just kicked out the bloodsucking, stonewalling manager when an unfamiliar call came through. The voice on the other end was polite and impeccably courteous.
"Hello, Mr. Chu Sui. Would you be interested in stopping by our team for a cup of tea after you're discharged?"
Chu Sui paused, phone in hand, and speed-read everything he could about this fast-rising team in 0.1 seconds.
In the BLS team's conference room...
The directors exchanged troubled looks as they discussed recruiting a new driver. The team manager's eyes darted around before they all turned in unison toward the handsome young team owner seated at the head of the table, whose bearing was anything but ordinary. The owner spoke calmly.
"Chu Sui's relationship with his team is strained. Now is the perfect time to snap him up."
The manager jumped to his feet, thumped his chest, and promised with the utmost loyalty he'd ever shown.
"I'll make absolutely sure we get him for you!"
A bottom who immerses himself in racing, takes his work seriously, and tries to maintain a friendly superior-subordinate relationship, and a top who is loaded and imaginative, and devoted to breaking down that superior-subordinate relationship.
