Exorcising Demons at a Prestigious Academy

[Cold, Stone-Faced Female Lead x Fox Spirits] [Mild Horror]

Blurb 1, from other people's perspective:

On the first day of school, two transfer students arrived at Imperial Sea Royal Academy.

The boy was extraordinarily handsome and elegant. He must have been the son of some noble.

The girl…

She was quiet and strange. Students often saw her hiding in dark corners, watching the academy's heartthrobs and sketching their handsome faces in her notebook.

At last, one day, the kind and considerate heartthrob approached her. "Would you like to be friends?"

The transfer student's face turned slightly red, and she nodded shyly.

From then on, people often saw the transfer student following behind the heartthrob, becoming one of his admirers.

Until one full-moon night, the transfer student brought the heartthrob a box of chocolates.

She lowered her head and gently bit her lip. "I made these chocolates myself, just for you."

The heartthrob gave her a malicious smile. "Then feed me."

There was a hidden camera in the room, installed by the heartthrob. By now, the transfer student had become the butt of their jokes.

The transfer student shakily fed a piece of chocolate to the stunningly handsome man.

The next second, the campus heartthrob turned into a fly-headed monster covered in scales.

But there wasn't a trace of fear on the transfer student's face. Instead, she calmly said, "So after all that, you're only a mid-level demon."

Blurb 2, from the female lead's perspective:

Because Mu Xiao can tell who has been "cursed," she ranks near the top at Saint Cyr Theocratic Academy.

To become a bishop after graduation, she applies to become an exchange student and exorcise demons off campus.

A strange student ranked second in the school transfers alongside her. He suggests they have an exorcism competition to see who can deal with the most demons.

After enrolling, Mu Xiao discovers more and more "cursed people" and demons disguised as humans.

She realizes with a start that this isn't a school at all. It's a demon buffet.

*

As time passes, Mu Xiao exorcises more and more demons, and more and more of the "cursed people" fall for her.

Being liked by so many people is a hassle for Mu Xiao.

Because… anyone who confesses to her will be affected by the curse on her and become desperate to kill her.

And her real reason for transferring is to get rid of the demon hiding in the school, the one that cursed her.

Reading guide:

1. Not a power-fantasy heroine, though the female lead is rather assertive. A romance and exorcism story.

2. Multiple male leads. Some aren't love interests, but supporting characters or villains.

3. The blurb only shows one of the demons. There are many demons in this interstellar school setting, and all the characters are adults.

4. You can read it as a horror novel. No angst for the female lead, but a tiny bit of angst for the men.
