Two high school girls meet at the end of summer and unexpectedly become friends. They admire and praise one another, help each other at school, and win awards in joint entrance exams. But the summer they turn seventeen, family troubles force them apart. Even so, they continue to support each other and stand firmly at one another's side. They may quarrel, but once they understand the reason, they apologize and forgive each other.
