After a sudden upheaval in his family, senior-year student Yuan Ting takes a year off school and transfers from a big city to a small county town. Six months later, on his way to school before winter break, he sees a girl jump from a building. Before he can call the police or an ambulance, she dies, and he returns to six months earlier.
He wants to save her, again and again. The details change, but the ending is always the same.
From then on, he is trapped in a dream, one he cannot wake from.
The endless reversals of time drive him to the brink of collapse.
"Let's run away! Leave this place and go somewhere no one knows us. We can start our lives over!"
"It's too late."
