Senior Brother has lost his memory.
Jiang Wan, reborn, is once again met with coldness and distance from her senior brother, who is also her future cultivation partner. She feels lost.
Jiang Wan grips her hands tightly and reminds herself that her senior brother has only just entered the sect in this life. Of course he doesn't remember how much they loved each other.
But no matter how hard she tries to act as she did in her previous life and get along with him, she keeps hitting a wall.
So many things really are different this time.
Her senior brother is still exceptionally talented, and now he has many junior sisters.
Her senior brother is always busy, and she can't find time to talk with him.
The way her senior brother looks at her seems no different from how he looks at his other junior sisters.
Her senior brother... seems to hate her.
Jiang Wan cultivates, and feels more and more sad.
Only then does she realize that perhaps it was her clinginess, born of knowing nothing, that forced her senior brother to become her cultivation partner in their previous life.
Her senior brother doesn't love her.
Realizing this, Jiang Wan clutches the little straw snake she learned to weave from him in her previous life and cries so hard she looks awful.
Later, a mission further confirms her suspicion.
Jiang Wan is poisoned. She grits her teeth and staggers off to seek her senior brother's help, only to see him hurry away on his sword with Junior Sister Wanwan held tightly in his arms.
Jiang Wan curls up in agony, watching helplessly as her senior brother disappears.
She is terribly unlucky this time. She suffers a great loss, has her spiritual root gouged out, and faints in a pool of blood.
With no senior brother and no spiritual root, Jiang Wan leaves the sect alone.
Lu Jinghan rushes over when he hears what happened, but Jiang Wan is already gone.
He stands guard over a heart that has long since fallen into chaos, gripping his sword, utterly lost.
Three years later, Jiang Wan appears again.
Though she has no spiritual root, she makes a name for herself with a single battle at the sparring tournament.
Lu Jinghan's long-dormant heart beats again.
He pushes past the crowd around her, wanting to apologize, or perhaps say something else...
Only when he gets closer does he realize
that Jiang Wan has a new senior brother by her side.
P.S. The heroine has another reason for losing her spiritual root, but it won't be revealed here.
This blurb only covers a third of the novel. Spoiling the rest would make it less fun to read.
The leads are sexually inexperienced, and the male lead has imposed his own restrictions on himself.
The couple only have each other. Please add it to your collection!
A bittersweet romance with a happy ending. I'm writing like crazy right now.
If enough readers are interested, I'll start this one as soon as I finish the novel I'm working on.
Theme: Independence and self-reliance
