Shy, gentle artist x flirtatious, scheming owner of a designer toy store
Mutual pining | Romantic tension | Size difference | Love at first sight

Xia Huan suddenly discovered that her neighbor was the college crush she’d once liked.
She only found out after accidentally taking his package, then getting blasted in the neighborhood group chat by someone with a little cat as his profile picture.
Xia Huan added him as a friend to apologize, then nervously went to his door.
When the door opened, the carefree look on his face made her stumble over her words. “I-I brought your package. I’m sorry.”
The man raised an eyebrow and paused for a few seconds before smiling. “It’s fine. I’m pretty quick to forgive someone I like.”
? Why had her crush changed so much?
2.
Zhou Yue fell in love at first sight with a girl from the class next door, but she seemed to have a boyfriend.
Whenever he tried to get closer, she avoided him like the plague.
“Zhou Yue, you’ve finished moving. Why haven’t you come out to hang out yet?”
Leaning against the wall, the tall, slender man smiled as he explained over the phone, “Of course I’m waiting for my tissue to come home.”
“What tissue? And why did you move somewhere so remote? Don’t tell me it was because of…”
A knock sounded at the door. Zhou Yue’s lips curved into a charming smile as he answered, “Coming!”
His neighbor stood behind the door, trembling from head to toe. Zhou Yue raised an eyebrow and said, “It’s fine.”
As soon as he finished speaking, his neighbor immediately bowed, apologized, and ran off.
He’d seen her again.

During their four years at university, Xia Huan had only run into Zhou Yue a handful of times. Each time, she merely watched him from afar before taking the longest possible route to avoid him.
In Xia Huan’s mind, Zhou Yue was an untouchable flower on a high peak, so whenever she saw him, she pretended not to be interested.
But in Zhou Yue’s eyes, Xia Huan was a sweet and amusing girl. Every time he saw her, he wanted to cuddle up to her and tell her he liked her.
The only time they ever managed to talk was during a party game, when Xia Huan asked Zhou Yue what kind of person he liked best.
Xia Huan thought his answer completely ruled her out.
But she never expected that after graduation, her crush would have to be as stingy with tissues as she was.
She flopped onto the sofa, trying to make sense of their past interactions, when her pocket vibrated again.
【Summer Summer Summer: Hi, I think you got the wrong package. The phone number on it doesn’t end in my number.】
Xia Huan: “I’m here to pick up my package.”
Zhou Yue: “Then give me your contact details.”

A peek at my next upcoming novel
The boss at Qi Yan’s new company was the busiest man she’d ever met.
Whenever she needed his signature, his location seemed to change at random.
He could be in Hong Kong when she called in the morning, then show up in Guangdong by the afternoon.
Before submitting anything for approval, she had to call He Si’s secretary over and over.
As soon as she got an update, she’d rush off without wasting a moment.
Qi Yan didn’t really like her boss. She always thought he was arrogant and extremely self-centered.
But she was also the kind of person who’d do anything for money, so she willingly stayed by his side.
She thought this mutually beneficial arrangement would last until she paid off her mortgage.
Things didn’t go as planned. A company team-building event ruined their harmonious office relationship. After getting drunk, Qi Yan followed her new boss again, acting on pure muscle memory.
In the morning, now completely sober, Qi Yan fixed the man in front of her with a serious look. “Boss, you can leave without a worry. I have face blindness. I can’t tell what you look like, so I definitely won’t ruin your reputation.”
He Si gritted his teeth. “If you don’t recognize me, what did you call me?”
2
He Si had slept with a woman from his own company, and she had the nerve to think she could just walk away without taking responsibility.
He Si had always had life easy. He was handsome, wealthy, and decent in every way.
Naturally, his admirers soon learned not to bother pursuing him.
But he never expected that someone would sleep with him for a whole night, then brazenly claim she didn’t know who he was.
Didn’t she call his secretary every day to ask where he was?
Didn’t she sit next to him at every meal and while they worked?
And now she was saying she had no memory of him at all? He’d never met such an irresponsible woman.
He Si touched the bite marks still on his neck, his expression dark. “Just you wait.”
3.
Qi Yan swore she had no intention of having an office romance.
But her new boss didn’t seem to see it that way.
“If you can’t recognize my face, why do you come looking for me so many times every day?” He Si tapped the desk and looked down at her.
“Boss, I’m an accountant. I need approvals.”
Qi Yan answered honestly. Seeing his expression grow worse, she added,
“Besides, I really didn’t feel anything that night. You don’t have to take it to heart.”
