[I'm going offline and doing time this year. See you next year.]
If I've committed a crime, let the law punish me. Don't throw me into insectoid territory to play substitute romance with a bunch of stupid insect people.

Written in the insectoid capital star, Satalinde
My name is Kevin Cen. I'm 35, graduated from Troy University, one of the top two universities in the Human Federation, and now work as an ordinary field reporter.
If I hadn't had a brain fart and boarded the jump ship to the insectoid Ota Empire with my colleagues, I think my life would have continued as before: smooth sailing, peaceful and stable, with no illness or disaster.
It's fine. The scouts sent back quite a bit of information about the insectoids. As long as I stay cautious, I shouldn't blow my cover, right...? Holy crap! Hey, man! Let's talk this out! Put the gun down!
I really don't know the major general you're talking about!
Eight years ago, the Ota Empire had a notorious subfemale major general.
He was a male-loving subfemale who struck fear into the insect people. He was the Empress's muzzled mad dog, gloomy and cruel, a heretic who had climbed the ranks one step at a time despite being a subfemale.
He was the star of the subfemales, and the shame of the insectoid race.
Everyone despised him, scorned him, and looked down on him. The powerful wanted to force him into the mud, while the lowborn wanted to drag him into the abyss. They wanted to break his wings and knock out his fangs, make him lower his proud head and have the mad dog willingly and obediently crawl at their feet, loyal to them--
But the young subfemale gave no response at all, utterly unmoved. He lowered his eyes and carelessly straightened his formal gloves, his demeanor unchanged from usual, as arrogant as ever. "Kailan Aisite reporting for duty, sir."
His cold indifference to everything was the only face he offered anyone in his final moments.
--Hah. You're saying Kailan Aisite is dead?
Impossible. That low, despicable subfemale wouldn't die. He wouldn't dare. He's probably hiding out on some remote planet, carrying on with his disgusting male-loving ways.
You think we like him?
No. Nobody likes a mad dog. Unless--unless he was willing to obey me, serve me, love what I love, hate what I hate, and wear the shackles I give him. Then I might deign to take him as my female lord consort.
--He's gone.
How dare he? How dare he actually die?!
Kailan Aisite, you know what it costs to fool us. You'd better stay hidden on that pathetic little planet of yours. If we find something to use against you, we won't hesitate to drag you back...
Tear you to pieces, smash your bones, and scatter your ashes.
Don't let us catch you.
Note: 1. Main character is the bottom, third-person narration, adored by many, with maxed-out combat ability. The true top is mostly a background character.
2. Lots of original worldbuilding. The main text takes precedence. Earth has a wasteland and supernatural-abilities setting, which won't be explained in detail in the story.
3. The professional knowledge mentioned is entirely made up, for entertainment purposes only.
4. Character names and story content are the product of the author's imagination. Please don't take them too seriously.
Theme: Never give up hope of breaking free from your cage
The plot is a bit convoluted and confusing, but it's very interesting.
What I hate the most is the natural temptation of straight men.
