At seventeen, Xing Yuyi was a full-time Identity V rank match booster. After winning an ordinary ranked match, he was challenged to a one-on-one session by the top-ranked player.
The expert was called Xie Xin, and was known for being aloof and mysterious. Xing Yuyi expected to get brutally beaten as revenge, but after their practice session, the other player simply said, "Give me your account number or contact details. I'll pay for the session." He even arranged another one for the next day.
And so the socially awkward, illiterate Xing Yuyi gained another identity: the top-ranked player's personal sparring partner. But would he get fired if he fell for his boss?
On the seventeenth day, their practice sessions came to an abrupt end. Xie Xin politely said goodbye, and Xing Yuyi learned from others that Xie Xin had gone to the IVL youth training program.
He resolved to catch up with Xie Xin this time and stand by his side openly and proudly, even if he had to love him silently for the rest of his life.
Xie Xin is Xing Yuyi's first choice, and Xing Yuyi wants to be Xie Xin's first choice on the road to victory.
