The Great Demon King and His Little Sacrifice
A sweet, sheltered beauty bottom raised from childhood × a tsundere, scheming, loyal-dog top who says one thing but means another
When they first met, You Changxun came to the hui club in person to take Wei Yu, who was dancing onstage, away to complete his mission.
Under the dazzling lights, Wei Yu was like an enchantress born to captivate people. He hadn't done anything particularly provocative, and even the shirt he wore was faded from too many washes, yet he still managed to steal You Changxun's heart with ease.
At the time, You Changxun was already falling for him, but didn't know it.
"Come with me. I'll give you five million a month."
"I don't mean to offend you. If you're willing, can I pay for your schooling?"
"I'm just... a good person."
Later, You Changxun really did keep Wei Yu by his side, putting on the act of a "good person" who only wanted to pay for his schooling in every way imaginable.
Even though he knew perfectly well that he'd approached Wei Yu with ulterior motives from the very beginning.
You Changxun wasn't trying to protect this beautiful, pitiful boy. He wanted to erase everything about Wei Yu once he had fallen beyond saving.
No matter how things unfolded, the moment Wei Yu stepped into this trap with no choice, his certain death was sealed.
And so was the unbreakable... deadlock between the two of them.
But You Changxun still fell hopelessly, uncontrollably in love with the "little sacrifice" he'd gone to such lengths to find as a "substitute to die in his place."
"You were never a sacrifice I found. You were the person I found to love."
"I'll keep you alive. What will it take for you to believe me?"
"I was wrong. I shouldn't have led you into this dead end, and I shouldn't have lied to you."
But fate had other plans. Faced with an ending that had long been set in stone, they had no choice but to make a decision.
The tender words and the feelings, real or feigned, from the past became a blade in the final moment, making Wei Yu more determined than ever as he plunged it into You Changxun's heart.
He gave his life so his beloved could live.
It was the punishment for bearing the bloodline of the Demon King, and a curse unique to the two of them.
Some encounters are destined from the start to end with both sides hurt, and neither able to escape death.
