[The first chapter preview is Chapter Five of the essays at the bottom of the column]
[Yuta x You x Megumi sandwich 💗]
There is something strangely magnetic about you.
Most people who spend time with you end up wanting to take care of you, protect you, and hold you in the palm of their hand, as if you were a glass doll that would shatter at the slightest touch.
You find it incredibly tiresome and just want some peace and quiet. So you learn to find yourself a protector.
In Sendai, the Tiger of Nishi Junior High is your rumored boyfriend. Your classmates all think you are madly in love, so they give up meddling in your life.
When your parents are transferred for work, you move to Urami East Junior High in Saitama Prefecture and take one look at the school delinquent, Fushiguro Megumi. Perfect. The flies are physically kept away from you once more.
You think your life will continue to be this easy, until a strange man with a hairstyle like a feather duster shows up, claiming that you have a rare support-type cursed technique and inviting you to attend Tokyo Jujutsu High.
When you learn that the school has only a handful of students, you happily agree.
"After tomorrow's mission, let's go eat ramen!" Out of habit, you casually start winning over the kind and dependable Inumaki again.
Before he can respond, the classroom door swings open. Teacher Gojo walks in with a new student.
Your smile suddenly freezes.
The newcomer looks awkward and reserved. You know that face, with its perpetually dark circles, all too well. It's Yuta Okkotsu, your childhood friend, whom you abandoned without a word when you moved away, tossing him aside as if he meant nothing.
Your perfectly peaceful life is over.
Can someone explain why the transfer student is your childhood friend from all the way back in Sendai, and why two of the three first-years are former rumored boyfriends you dumped without a second thought?
Can those odds really be right!
[Please note]
1. The main text will probably be in second person, with most of the focus on Megumi and Yuta. I really want to write gloomy, possessive guys.
2. As the prefix for this story in the column suggests, "you" are written as a damsel-in-distress type.
3. May get a little dark.
