Helpless After Giving Birth, I Called My Husband's Boss

Bottom's perspective:

I had just given birth, but my husband hadn't stepped into the role of a father. He still went out partying and clubbing, and often stayed away for days.

On the third day after giving birth, my back hurt so much I couldn't stand. I couldn't cook for myself, and I wasn't producing much milk. My baby was crying from hunger, and I still couldn't get in touch with my husband.

I had no friends or family in this unfamiliar city. The only number in my phone was one I'd saved the last time I brought my husband lunch at work. I nervously called it.

A man's deep voice answered. "Hello, how can I help you?"

Tears sprang to my eyes almost at once. "I'm sorry to bother you, but could you please get in touch with Fu Baichuan for me?"

Perhaps he heard me choking back tears. He paused briefly. "Has something happened?"

"I just had a baby, and he's not here. I'm so hungry, so tired, and in so much pain. Please, can you help me? I don't know anyone here..."

"Your address."

I froze for a moment. "What?"

"Your home address."

Top's perspective:

One perfectly ordinary afternoon, I received a call from a subordinate's wife.

The voice on the other end was soft. I could tell it was a man, and he started crying as soon as he spoke.

I couldn't understand why he'd called me, or why he was crying like that, but who could help feeling sympathy for a frail man who had just given birth and desperately needed care?

So I asked for his address and walked right into their home, as if I had every right to be there.

Top: If you don't want your wife and child, I'll gladly take them both.

Scum Top: I just went out to a nightclub, put my arms around a few girls, and came back to find my wife and child gone.

P.S. Before the scum top and bottom divorce, there is no romance between the top and bottom.
