Gotham Shopkeeper Simulator was a game you'd had your eye on since the beta. As soon as it launched, you couldn't wait to log in and register an account.
The player's task was to run a general store in Gotham.
Aside from the mandatory main management quests, the game offered a high degree of freedom. It was a paradise for open-world exploration players.
Two days after opening.
Employee: "Oh no, Shopkeeper, someone's robbing us!"
"I'm on my way. Hang in there. If they want money, let them take it. Your safety matters more."
Two days later.
"Shopkeeper, Shopkeeper, something's wrong. This time they've got a gun!"
"Got it. Three minutes."
Several days later.
"Shopkeeper..."
"Don't bother. I know. Life or money? Tell them they can have no money, but they can take my life."
"It's Mr. Bruce Wayne. He specifically asked to see you."
"Huh?!"
A few years later, you regretted everything. You should have kept Wayne out of the store back then, even though Batman would have come looking for you eventually.
How did he rope you into this mess in the first place?
It was probably Alfred's little cookies.
...Pondering...
Surely no one can resist Alfred's little cookies, so this was only natural under the circumstances. (Nods)
