A trying-to-conceive scene:

After they’re done one time, Jian Guo lies in someone’s arms, a large hand resting on his belly, doing nothing more than resting there. His stomach has gotten a little soft lately. Hormones have reduced some of his muscle, and the doctor says it’s normal. After the baby is born and the gestational sac is removed, his hormones will balance out again, and he’ll be able to get his abs back.

Jian Guo is used to being touched like this. The lingering haze of passion hasn’t faded, and his body is still soft. His mind is just as unguarded, and he can’t tell whether he’s being affectionate or complaining.

Jian Guo tilts his head toward the person’s neck. One step closer and he could bite the artery. He murmurs, “How about we just let the hospital do IVF?”

To any man, those words would sound like a challenge to his abilities. Song Su raises an eyebrow. The arm Jian Guo has been lying on lifts, slips into his silky hair, and grabs hold.

Song Su pulls half his body away to look at Jian Guo’s face.

“Ah…” Jian Guo gasps, not because his scalp hurts from being grabbed.

His legs had been resting across Song Su’s thighs, as they often did lately. Jian Guo had once asked Song Su to bring him two pillows, and Song Su had simply stretched out his thighs, raising Jian Guo’s lower body a little.

But when Song Su moved, Jian Guo’s legs slid down…
