Amber Chronicle - Literary Edition
I received ninety-nine pieces of amber,
Our time is sealed in each one.
From the incense on a summer night when I was fifteen,
At the age of twenty-three, I never went to another appointment.
The man who gave the amber said:
"You'll understand when I get to ninety-nine."
Then he disappeared on the summer solstice,
Like the bird flying away in Tagore's poem.
Ten years later, I was "reborn" back to the summer when everything was not over yet,
I saw a line of small words in the hollow amber:
"When you find me, time begins to flow."
It turned out to be the longest wait,
Some people sealed themselves into specimens,
Waiting for you to use the warmth of the rest of your life,
Inch by inch unfreeze the part that has never been spoken——
Something close to love.
Short version:
After he disappeared, he left me ninety-nine pieces of amber that sealed my memory.
On the day I collected all the amber, I discovered that in the largest piece of amber——
Seal the eternal summer of his twenty-three years old, and the still breath waiting for my arrival.
Purpose: Cherish the people in front of you
