Beyond Mount Wu

Charlatan x Male Favorite

The princess wants a prophecy for the male favorite she loves.

The charlatan is partial to the rich and powerful, and every time, she says they are a match made in heaven.

Until one day, the male favorite comes to seek a spirit-writing séance.

“I hear you’re very accurate?”

“Which soul are you looking for?”

The male favorite lowers his head and says the charlatan’s name.

He gives a quiet laugh. “She was my wife, who died young.”
