Liu Cenxi couldn't help bragging. "You know how sweet my little brother is? We had a department dinner last night, and he was worried I'd had too much to drink. He waited for me at home, made me hangover soup, and only then went back."
His coworker had heard this so often that he was practically sick of it. "Yeah, yeah. The little brother from your old blended family, right?"
When Liu Cenxi was in middle school, he moved with his mother into a blended family and met Min Yu, who became his new little brother. Min Yu was obedient and sweet, always clinging to him like a little ball of sticky rice.
Unfortunately, his parents' relationship still fell apart, and the two families went their separate ways. Liu Cenxi went abroad to study and only recently returned to work.
Two months ago, Liu Cenxi ran into the brother who had just come of age. He heard that his sweet little brother was neglected by his parents in his new home and had even dropped out of high school. What a poor thing.
"I've got to go."
Liu Cenxi saw the message on his phone, a smile spreading through his eyes. As he gathered his things, he said cheerfully, "My brother saw it was raining and came to pick me up after work. I'm heading out."
"Okay, see you tomorrow," his coworker said.
Then, unable to curb his curiosity, he followed Liu Cenxi, wanting to see what kind of person this little brother he talked about every day really was.
When he saw the young man standing opposite Liu Cenxi at the company entrance, he couldn't help drawing in a sharp breath.
Was this the sweet, obedient little brother Liu Cenxi was always talking about?
Broad shoulders, long legs, tall, and handsome. Two silver eyebrow studs glinted on his face. His sleeveless T-shirt revealed a full sleeve of thorny tattoos, and his lean muscles were taut. The only thing missing was the words "delinquent" written right across his rebellious face.
But Liu Cenxi clearly thought nothing of it. He tilted his head up as he spoke, eyes curving with a smile, and reached out his hand.
The young man was half a head taller. He lowered his fluffy head like a tamed wolfdog, tail wagging as he obediently let Liu Cenxi pat him.

After their long separation, Min Yu was still as clingy as he had been as a child, always pressing close and asking for a hug.
Along with his happiness, Liu Cenxi couldn't help feeling a little troubled.
At some point, Min Yu had developed skin hunger. When it flared up, only skin-to-skin contact could help, and he had another very strange habit.
He liked to bite him.
At first, it was gentle nips on his fingers. Then Min Yu began rubbing his canine teeth against Liu Cenxi's wrist. After that, the places he bit became more and more... intimate and shameful. Dark red bite marks appeared beneath his clothes, from his waist to his inner thighs, and there were more and more of them.
He really couldn't take it anymore. Blushing, he asked Min Yu awkwardly, "Is there really no cure for this condition?"
"There is."
The young man lifted his eyes from Liu Cenxi's chest. His gaze was as dark as a wolf's, and his deep red lips glistened. A metal tongue piercing flashed into view as he spoke hoarsely. "The doctor said... intense and prolonged physical contact can activate the brain's reward system and produce a state of pseudo-recovery."
"So, big brother, would you be kind enough to take pity on me and help me?"

Whenever Liu Cenxi's coworker tried setting him up on a date, the plans would fall through halfway.
Whenever a meeting was coming up, Min Yu would suddenly come down with a fever or get sick and need someone to look after him. Or he'd get into an argument with a classmate and start a fight at school, forcing a teacher to call his guardian.
As Min Yu's guardian, Liu Cenxi rushed to school and looked him over from head to toe, anxiously asking, "Why did you get into a fight? Are you hurt anywhere?"
A bandage covered Min Yu's face. He lowered his eyes dejectedly and said in a hoarse voice, "Sorry, big brother. I've caused you trouble again."
Liu Cenxi hugged him with a pained expression. "How could you be a bother? You're my most important family. You'll never be a burden to me."
Family?
Liu Cenxi's embrace was clean and warm, and he carried a scent that was impossible to resist.
A faint smile curled Min Yu's lips. Where Liu Cenxi couldn't see, a sinister gleam flickered in his dark eyes.
He had never wanted just the word "family."
He wanted his brother's eyes to look only at him, and all of his love and desire to belong to him alone.
