A Poor Working Relationship

I have a younger sister who loves snatching anything she can get her hands on.

Ever since we were little, whenever I liked something, she would find a way to take it from me, whether it was a toy, clothes, or a guy I was dating.

I asked her why she did it.

She just looked at me innocently and said:

"I trust your taste, Sis. Anything you pick is bound to be the best."

She had a point. I nodded in agreement.

The very next day, I accepted the advances of a male colleague who had been pursuing me, and a little over a month later, I brought him home to meet my parents.

My sister stared at his handsome face with delight, fussing over him and calling him "big brother" this and "big brother" that.

Seeing the flirtatious look in her eyes, I knew she'd fallen back into her old ways.

What she didn't know was that my boyfriend was a gay man with a promiscuous private life and a disease.

He'd probably picked me because I was always so cautious and unobtrusive at work.

He thought I was the most gullible one.
