[The King's Avatar] Ye Xiu, Could You Try Having Some Feelings?

Synopsis:

①

Lin Qingyan had loved following Ye Xiu around since she was little. Mostly because, with him, she could slack off as much as she wanted.

Their friendship lasted nearly seven years, until one day it suddenly fell apart. She packed her suitcase and left home without a word!

Weren't they supposed to be each other's most reliable slack-off buddies?! How could he leave without even telling her first?!

More than ten years later, Lin Qingyan returned to China to take over a branch office. At Ye Qiu's request, she went to visit the retired Ye Xiu.

Standing outside his cramped, tiny staff dormitory, Lin Qingyan shook her head and clicked her tongue.

"You've really fallen on hard times, Lao Ye."

②

In Ye Xiu's eyes, Lin Qingyan had always been that girl who talked about slacking off but, in private, was more competitive than anyone.

Later, after finishing her studies abroad, Lin Qingyan returned home. When she stood before him, she had grown into a graceful, carefree young woman.

When had his feelings changed?

Probably that night, when the spring breeze carried the scent of flowers, and the unfamiliar emotion left him stunned and at a loss.

Ye Xiu watched her silhouette grow smaller as she walked away, then slowly closed his eyes. The rustling treetops could not drown out his heartbeat.

Honestly,

so noisy.
