Drumroll

Legend has it that in ancient times, the Phoenix Clan hunted other races in great numbers to produce offspring, until the Dragon Clan finally drove them back. Guided by the gods, a phoenix maiden married into the Dragon Clan as a gesture of compromise, and from then on, the dragons and phoenixes made a tradition of political marriages. The unlucky Crown Prince of the Dragons, Tu Fang, actually ran off with the bride the day before his wedding. The heavens were soon abuzz with gossip and speculation. The Dragon King, however, didn't care at all. With a grand sweep of his sleeve, he simply asked the Phoenix Clan for another "princess" to be his son's bride. As for this "princess" from the Phoenix Clan, she was famed throughout the heavens as a "beautiful demoness." Wasn't the Dragon King afraid his son wouldn't be able to handle her?
