Shen Lingshuang is the sidekick of a villainous supporting female character in a novel. After completing the tasks she was required to do, she is pushed off a cliff by the villainess, Jiang Qingling.
Just as she thinks she is certain to die this time, her soul enters the body of Mo Yunzheng, the male lead who has been unconscious for a long time.
Jiang Qingling, weeping pitifully, says, "Yunzheng, you're finally awake. Let's never be apart again!"
As Shen Lingshuang struggles to figure out how to respond, the door is kicked off its hinges. Su Moran, the female lead who was supposed to have been killed by Jiang Qingling too, makes her entrance.
Su Moran grabs Jiang Qingling with one hand and flings her far away, then says to Shen Lingshuang, "Hi, user of Mo Yunzheng's... body. I've transmigrated too. I'm a reader of this novel, and I couldn't stand this awful plot, so I came to rewrite it myself."
