Is It Wrong for a Beloved Heartthrob to Be Cannon Fodder on a Dating Show?

Jiang Yan is an elite employee in the Scum Men Department of the System Bureau. But with a major departmental overhaul underway, its members are being loaned out to other departments. So after completing a scum-man mission in a small world, he gets to stay there for once. He immediately takes on a disposable-character mission, joining a dating show as an attention-seeking, obnoxious cast member. Normally, several of the male contestants would hate and loathe him, viewers would dislike him, and he'd become the target of online abuse. He'd be left like a rat in a gutter, watching the universally adored protagonist win everyone's affection as rich young masters fight over him in a battle for his favor. But unfortunately for them, Jiang Yan comes from the Scum Men Department, where passing the selection process is about as hard as an ordinary person climbing to the heavens with their bare hands. What's more, after transferring to the Disposable Characters Department, the seal on his face, previously visible only to the targets of his scum-man missions, is fully removed. Everyone in the world can now see what he really looks like. With every charm stat maxed out, he doesn't even need to try to complete the mission of making the protagonist shine. The battle for the protagonist's favor turns into a fight over him instead. Jiang Yan, who sets the internet ablaze the moment he appears, completes the Disposable Characters Department's attention-grabbing mission with ease. He barely even has to do anything. Becoming everyone's favorite contestant might be difficult, but what if Jiang Yan is one of the people they can choose? The wave Jiang Yan creates is big enough to reach his ex, who had fallen into a state of depression and self-abandonment. Before long, another contestant joins the fight for Jiang Yan's love.
