A gloomy ghost x a straight male protagonist
Shu Zhao had been watching that girl for a long time.
She was mysterious, quiet, and not much of a talker. She kept to herself at university, and people said her family had a very impressive background.
But Shu Zhao couldn't help being interested in her. After several attempts to get close, he finally managed to make contact with his goddess.
She was not much for conversation and brushed off his eager attempts to win her over in just a few words.
His roommates teased him, calling him a “simp.”
Was he? But if you liked someone, you had to make the first move for anything to happen, Shu Zhao thought. He looked at the beautiful face of the girl in the photo, his cheeks flushing and his heart thumping.
He turned to the women he knew and asked them for advice. His older sister suggested he “slowly warm her up.”
Shu Zhao followed her example and carefully reviewed his progress with them.
Gradually, he began to feel that the way his goddess looked at him had become strange.
Should he explain? Shu Zhao was a little torn. His relationship with her wasn't even close to flirting. Wouldn't it be presumptuous to bring it up himself?
Besides, this sort of thing was hard to explain. Shu Zhao didn't want to lie.
Maybe what he was doing wasn't such a good idea.
Just as Shu Zhao arranged to meet his sister and ask how he should handle the situation, a sudden change turned everything upside down.
Everything fell into chaos.

Blindfolded and bound hand and foot, he spent seven brutal days and nights with a stranger in an unfamiliar place.
In a way he had never imagined in his life.
