[Synopsis]
Chu Xing has a very open-minded mother, who insists on marrying a rich old man within six months of her husband's death, then happily moves with her daughter into a huge mansion.
Her new neighbor grabs Chu Xing and takes her to the airport to pick up her older brother, who's coming home for the holidays. Along the way, she repeats ten times: My brother went to Princeton.
The man who arrives is young, tall, and handsome, with a cool expression and lips slightly pursed.
Chu Xing obediently greets him: "Brother Zhiyin."
Cheng Zhiyin gives a perfunctory nod without even lifting his eyes.
Later on.
On countless quiet nights, loneliness always comes pouring down, and a low voice travels from across the ocean.
"It's okay. Take your time learning."
"Don't cry, okay? I'll come back to see you next month."
"Today, Xingxing has been crying for 11 minutes and 19 seconds." He chuckles softly. "You've cried past my birthday."
"From now on, no matter what makes you sad, let's set this as the maximum amount of time you can cry, okay?"
She murmurs, then obediently promises him: I will, Brother Zhiyin.
